Cllr Trish Jamieson has been sworn in as the Mayor of Christchurch. She was first elected as a Conservative councillor for the West Highcliffe ward in 2003 and has served in that ward since then.

Cllr Mrs Sandra Grove the outgoing mayor of Verwood and her consort Clive Grove were guests of the Verwood Probus Club at a black tie dinner dance celebrating 25 years since the club was formed in 1991.
