Over the past 18 months, 50 Bournemouth & Poole College students have completed their Healthcare and Nursing Associate apprenticeships.
The college’s two sites will be open from 4-8pm on 22 September for prospective students to discover their options.
Dorset students are to become more involved with their communities.
The three-year-old black Labrador will be based across both the Lansdowne and North Road sites providing moments of calm.
Events are to be held at the North Road and Lansdowne sites, where independent careers advisors will be on hand.
The College is now the first further education institution in the country to launch a sustainable hair salon.
Phil Sayles will take over in January 2022 following the retirement of Diane Grannell at the end of this year.
The college is one of 16 across the country which will receive government funding to update its facilities.
