One man has been charged and further arrests have been made following an investigation by detectives into an alleged assault in Boscombe.

Cameron Horler, 19, admitted charges of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a bladed article.

The three incidents took place in the centre of Bournemouth on Sunday 14 January, with a Bournemouth man arrested in possession of a knife.

553 knives have been surrendered in public bins in Hampshire, and a further 28 were surrendered or seized in Dorset, in a week-long initiative.
