Talbot Road closure following serious collision
A 19-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries following the collision on Friday 7 March.
Talbot Road in Bournemouth was closed for some time on Friday 7 March following a collision between a teenage motorcyclist and a car.
Dorset Police received a report at 11.57am of a road traffic collision involving a grey Renault Captur and black Lexmark motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, a 19-year-old man from Poole, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. His next of kin has been informed.
Police Sergeant Mike Gatfield, of the Traffic Department, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this collision to establish the full circumstances and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please make contact with us.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area and may have seen the vehicle before the incident or captured relevant dashcam footage.”
