The New Forest Cider Festival returns, promising mayhem

Celebrating all things cider, Burley’s festival offers family fun and plenty of food and drink.

Running across the weekend of Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October, the 20th edition of the New Forest Cider Festival promises “Cider. Craft. Songs & mayhem.” with a traditional autumn weekend celebrating cider making as it used to be done.

Visitors can see a collection of vintage presses in action, country craft demonstrations, and enjoy live entertainment with live music and cider songs from The Skimmity Hitchers. All with food and cider and plenty of New Forest character.

With a barn party on Saturday night, there’s also the annual cider competition, judged by public vote, tractor rides and handmade-goods craft stalls. Adult tickets are £5 and children under-14 go free with an adult.
