Pedestrian injured in Poole hit and run
Police are hoping that not only witnesses will come forward, but also the driver of the car, believed to be a white Vauxhall Astra.
Dorset Police are hoping witnesses to a collision in which a motorist failed to stop at the scene will come forward.
At around 8.45pm on Sunday 5 July, a collision occurred involving a car and a pedestrian in Rossmore Road.
It is reported that the car was described as a white Vauxhall Astra.
Officers attended alongside the ambulance service, and a road closure was put in place to allow for the incident to be dealt with.
The pedestrian, a man aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be serious.
Police Constable Mia Lomas, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this collision and are appealing to witnesses or anyone with information to please come forward.
“I am also keen to hear from anyone who was travelling in the area around the time of the collision and captured any relevant dashcam footage.
“Finally, I am appealing to the driver of the car involved to please come forward so we can take your account of what happened.”
