BMW involved in hit and run on the A31
Dorset Police are trying to establish the circumstances following the collision near the BP garage at St Leonards.
The driver of a blue BMW failed to stop after they collided with a road sign on the A31 on Saturday 1 March.
Dorset Police received a report at 7.44pm about the incident near the BP garage at St Leonards.
It was reported that the vehicle left the scene.
Police Constable Steve Hall, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I would urge anyone who saw the collision or a blue BMW travelling in the area on the evening of Saturday 1 March to please get in touch.
“I would also urge anyone who may have captured any relevant dashcam footage to please contact us.”
