Museum in Wimborne may have the collectable book for you
The Museum of East Dorset in Wimborne will be holding a sale of collectable books on Saturday 11 July from 10am–4pm. Entry is free.
The second-hand bookshop at the Museum of East Dorset in Wimborne Minster will be offering a wide selection of interesting and unusual publications at a collectable book sale to be held in the main entrance gallery.
Whether you are a collector, reader, or researching a particular subject, the museum may have just the title for you from a variety of authors covering a multitude of subjects.
The sale takes place on Saturday 11 July from 10am–4pm. Entry is free. All books in the sale have been valued by an expert and there are some rare editions.
This is a one-day event showcasing some of the unusual donations that the museum’s second-hand bookshop has been unable to feature within the usual bookshop selection.
New for this year are folios – a special selection of beautifully presented books published by The Folio Society, all in excellent condition. There is only a limited number, so come early to secure yours.
All proceeds will go towards the running of the museum.
Send any enquiries to books@museumofeastdorset.co.uk.
