The Tour of Britain cycle race through Dorset and around Ferndown, which was expected on 10 September, has been cancelled along with stage eight.

The event is taking a route from West Bay, Dorchester, Wareham, Blandford and Wimborne to Ferndown on Saturday 10 September.

This major international race will pass through Dorset for the first time on 10 September, visiting Wimborne Minster and Ferndown.
