The third annual Wimborne Food Festival will take place on Saturday 19 September to celebrate the town’s food and drink scene.

The Mayor of Wimborne Minster, Cllr Jeff Hart is organising the auction to raise money for charity.

The library, which was founded by Roger Gillingham and the Rev William Stone, opens for the season on 30 March.

On one of the few sunny days this month, the annual event, sponsored by Dorset View Magazines, attracted big crowds and numerous entries.

As well as the chance for businesses to enter, people can nominate a business they love most, with the deadline being 9 March.
