Former Cherries boss Harry Redknapp opened a summer fair at Canford School in May. It raised £3,647.77 for the Diverse Abilities’ Lilypad Appeal, which is raising funds to renovate its respite home for children with complex disabilities, and their families.

The sun shone the whole weekend as a total of 5,253 rowers from 153 clubs and schools took part in the National Schools Regatta at Dorney Lake from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 May. Cheryl Broad, a Wimborne Barber, has offered to have all her hair shaved off at an event to be held in Wimborne Square on Saturday 13 August.
