‘Outstanding’ art on display in Ferndown
Ferndown Art Society held a special exhibition as part of Dorset Arts Week over the weekend of 23–24 May.
The Barrington Centre and Ferndown Town Council welcomed the Ferndown Art Society for a special exhibition as part of Dorset Arts Week over the weekend of 23–24 May.
The exhibition featured an exceptional collection of artwork and included over 100 paintings in various mediums, highlighting the talent and creativity of local artists from across the community.
Several pieces were also sold and will now be brightening the homes of local residents.
According to the town council, visitors were captivated by the outstanding quality and diversity of the pieces on display, with many expressing their admiration for the talent showcased throughout the weekend.
Ferndown Town Council Town Clerk Liz Bishopp said: “We are thrilled to have hosted such a successful event and hope this marks the beginning of a long and exciting partnership, celebrating and supporting our wonderful local artists for years to come.”
