Poole hospice dancer joins BBC’s Strictly
Maddie Ingoldsby, who has appeared in Forest Holme Hospice Charity’s Strictly Extravaganza, will be on ‘Strictly’.
A dancer who has taken part in Forest Holme Hospice Charity’s Strictly Extravaganza since its inception is to become one of the new professional dancers joining BBC’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
In 2023, Maddie Ingoldsby partnered with contestant Jason Edward and they performed a moving Waltz to the theme from ‘Schindler’s List’, captivating the audience and judges before lifting the coveted Glitterball Trophy.
A spokesperson for Forest Holme Hospice Charity, said: “We are absolutely delighted for Maddie and couldn’t be more pleased to see her achieve this incredible milestone. “She has been a wonderful supporter of our Strictly Extravaganza from the very beginning, giving so much of her time and talent to help raise funds for Forest Holme Hospice.
“Everyone at Forest Holme Hospice Charity wishes Maddie every success as she takes to the famous BBC ballroom. We know she’ll be a fantastic addition to the professional line-up, and we’ll all be cheering her on.”
Tickets are now on sale for Strictly Extravaganza 2027, which is sponsored by Colten Care and takes place at Lighthouse, Poole on Saturday 23 January 2027.
