Ringwood teenager to face court following eight offences
The 14-year-old was charged with offences including shoplifting, driving a motor vehicle and assaulting a constable.
A Ringwood teenager who has been charged with eight offences will appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Monday 13 July.
The 14-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with the following: two counts of shoplifting; criminal damage; assault; assaulting a constable in execution of their duty; driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence; driving a mechanically propelled vehicle on a road/in a public place without reasonable consideration to other users; and using a motor vehicle on a road/public place without third party insurance.
The charges follow reported incidents of shoplifting, criminal damage and assault at Tesco Express, Butlers Lane on Thursday 16 April and Sunday 14 June, as well as a separate road-related incident on Wednesday 24 June.
