Teenage motorcyclist injured in Poole hit and run
Anyone who witnessed this collision on Ringwood Road or has dashcam footage should contact Dorset Police.
A teenage motorcyclist was injured in a hit and run collision on the B3068 Ringwood Road on Friday 28 February.
Dorset Police received a report at 9.01pm of the incident involving a grey Lexmoto motorcycle and a car near to the junction with Haskells Road.
It was reported that the car involved, believed to be a black Vauxhall Corsa, failed to stop at the scene.
The motorcyclist, a 19-year-old woman, was treated by the ambulance service and was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be serious.
Police Constable Charlie Bailey, of Poole police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident as we seek to identify the vehicle involved and the driver.
“I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police, as well as any motorists who may have captured any relevant dashcam footage, to please make contact with us.”
