Cllr Jeff Hart hosted a Mayor’s Brunch at The Olive Branch in Wimborne with performances from local schools.
A huge crowd gathered in Wimborne Square on Saturday 29 November for the switching on of the town’s festive lights.
The school remained open in last week’s snow, with the pupils having the chance to enjoy building snowmen.
The Wimborne bypass was closed for some time on Wednesday to allow a detailed examination of the scene. Police are seeking witnesses.
A celebration evening was held at Wimborne Town Football Clubhouse marking a very good year for the club.
