Rowan and Esther Davey got into practice for the virtual pancake event which this year is being organised by Wimborne BID.

The former Wimborne First School premises are being used to train police dogs to search for people and substances.

Wimborne is one of five towns to join the scheme which enables local centres to compete with online retail giants.

It will be different this year, but people will be able to enter by filming themselves tossing a pancake for 30 seconds and posting to Facebook.

With live theatre being absent for most of the past year, this will be the chance to enjoy a COVID-safe car park party.
