Wimborne Minster Town Council held its annual Civic Thanksgiving Service on Sunday 10 May at the Minster church. This was preceded by a parade around the town comprising The Quarterjacks of Wimborne marching band, Wimborne Cadets, standard bearers, civic dignitaries and the MP for Mid Dorset and North Poole, Vikki Slade.

The service was led by the rector, The Rev Canon Andrew Rowland, and there were presentations by Millstream Disabled Theatre Group and Dorset Community Action, the chosen charities of the Mayor of Wimborne Minster, Cllr Jeff Hart.
