Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service is reminding people about the best ways to stay safe and warm this winter.

This year technology can help Dorset residents to meet up with all their friends and family online – and help is on hand.

Both the BCP Council and Dorset Council areas will be in tier 2 when the national lockdown measures end on 2 December.

Dorset is to go into Tier 2 (High Alert) restrictions when the national restrictions ease on Wednesday 2 December.

The school is amongst just a few in the region to be chosen for this screening, which begins on Thursday 26 November.

Your help is being sought by a group that has come together to help tackle poor mental health in the farming community.

This was only possible thanks to a visiting lounge which allows safe face-to-face interaction with use of a Perspex screen.

Online help is available to foster carers from Dorset HealthCare’s Children in Care team during the pandemic.

The opportunity for parents and teachers to go online to discover new developments and to see the way forward in the future.

Many questions are on the lips of young people during this pandemic and this is their chance to get some answers.
