Cllr Millie Earl, leader of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council is urging people to put forward their views.

A Residents’ Card, BCP LIFE, has been launched by BCP Council to enable local people to enjoy a variety of savings.

Despite disappointment, BCP council has highlighted positive outcomes following the 2028 bid, citing strengthened cultural partnerships.

Designs for five play areas have been announced and in total 120 will see upgrades and refurbishments over the coming months.

Ivy Forest, who was a child in care, has gone on to become a Housing Options Officer apprentice at BCP Council.

The firework evenings take place in Bournemouth on Fridays from 24 July to 28 August and in Poole on Thursdays from 6 to 27 August.

Dorset Council and BCP Council are working to prevent homelessness, with both authorities presenting new strategies.

The funding is available for Boscombe West, Hamworthy West and Turlin Moor, and West Howe over the next decade.

People will have the chance to put forward their views on how Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole will shape up in the future.
