An exhibition of wildlife art which brings the artist’s creative journey to life will take place at Sculpture by the Lakes near Dorchester.
Hosted by Dorchester-based outdoor arts producer Activate, Inside Out Dorset opens this weekend with artist Luke Jerram’s remarkable installation Gaia at Moors Valley Country Park.
Thousands came together for a life-enhancing festival of wellbeing at Sculpture by the Lakes near Dorchester last week.
For one night only, 30 September, the factual story about the demise of Oscar Wilde will be brought to the Wimborne theatre.
Delayed from June this year, the annual event attracted more than 600 people despite the history festival taking place in the town on the same day.
There will be lots of entertainment at the Mini Steam and Vintage Day, including music and steam traction engine rides.
The attraction is offering free admission to juniors for the Wimborne Bear Day on Sunday 3 October when there will be lots of activities.
There is an exhibition and sale of original paintings by members of Wimborne Art Club at Walford Mill in Knobcrook Road.
Events taking place on Saturday 18 September include a climbing wall and a Teddy Bear Zip Dip – so bring your teddy.
