People have until 11 April to apply for a road closure for street parties to mark the 80th anniversary of the ending of the war in Europe.

Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy will be staged at Bournemouth Little Theatre in Winton this April.

‘The Sound of Music’ is to be staged at the Tivoli Theatre in Wimborne from 12–14 June.

Just under 20 boys from Dorset took part in a flashmob performance in Covent Garden on 16 March to celebrate young males in the dance industry.

Patrick Barlow’s hilarious stage adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘The 39 Steps’ will be performed by Ferndown Drama at the Barrington.

There will be nearly 200 events taking place as part of the Discover Wimborne festival during the month of April.
