Poole boys and girls are being invited to get muddy for a good cause – at a brand new event from Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life.
It starts with a giant Easter rabbit, and finishes with a cream egg, that’s the plan for East Cliff Rotary’s Easter Quarter Marathon at the end of March.
Throughout March a number of Dorset community groups are hosting music events as part of the Diverse Abilities Sing to Raise initiative.
Registrations are open for this year’s March for Men on Sunday 25 March, which will raise money for men’s health treatment at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
14 local charities have benefitted from the windfall, which will be put to good use.
The Dolphin Shopping Centre in Poole welcomed the choir to perform twice during December, enabling the choir to raise £1,525 from shoppers’ donations.
The Hoburne Group chose to support Cancer Research for 2017 and had a big fundraising drive across their seven holiday parks and three golf clubs.
