Colleagues and families have paid tribute to Carmel, who worked at Forest Holme Hospice for 13 years, and has now retired.

The £425,000 BCP Crisis and Resilience Fund will focus on providing funding for community meals and cookery workshops.

Nearly £100,000 has been donated to local charities and good causes by the Freemasons in Bournemouth.

The Big Teddy Takeover taking place during Children’s Hospice Week, 15–21 June, will benefit Julia’s House.
