Join University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity’s Walk for Wards on 28 September to raise funds for the department of your choice.

The Dorset Welcome Fund is offering grants to voluntary groups and charities who are helping asylum seekers and refugees in the county.

Russell Shivas has joined Lewis-Manning Hospice Care as Director of Finance and Operations.

This will be a quiz night with a difference as teams representing the two local charities go head-to-head.

Thanks to funding from Dorset Council and Waitrose, training sessions are being held to run workshops to help people to cook.

The event earlier this year raised funds for a specialised device for University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity’s Breast unit.
