The High Sheriff of Dorset presented two awards to The Water Lily Project, a Christian charity based in Christchurch.

With the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation being the charity of the year for two years, £3119 has been raised by Dudsbury Golf Club.

Thanks to a grant of £5,000 from Talbot Village Trust, Parkstone Grammar School pupils can now participate in trampolining.
