Verwood fayre raises £19,000 for charity

The festival, which runs until Monday 29 September, has displays featuring various Dorset landmarks and people who feature in the county’s history.
Verwood & District Horticultural Society held its annual Autumn Show on Saturday 13 September.
The 10-day festival saw artists work with communities to transform locations across Dorset, including Corfe Castle.
Live demonstration, food stalls, competitions and local artisan traders attended the festival on Saturday 20 September.
Texture Talks will feature television personalities from the BBC and Channel 4 to discuss modern design trends.
The procession was ahead of the Wimborne Minster Flower Festival entitled ‘The Delights of Dorset’, which runs from 26 to 29 September.
Robert Louis Stevenson wrote the famous novel at Skerryvore Gardens in Westbourne, and an event is being held there.
Wimborne Drama Productions will be performing this chilling play at the Tivoli Theatre from 16 to 18 October.
The event organised by Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance had been scheduled for 27 September at Baiter Park.
