Groynes are being renewed along the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole seafront, with four having been completed in recent months.
The government’s Pride of Place programme will enable West Howe, Boscombe West and Hamworthy West to be revitalised.
BCP Council is micro-surfacing roads across the conurbation and is upgrading key routes and improving road crossings.
Children will be able to have lots of fun when paddling pools in Redhill, Hamworthy, Littledown and Christchurch re-open.
The UK government has allocated over £22 million to the area, to provide new lifts at Pokesdown Station and improvements in West Howe.
Local people will be able to enjoy cheaper hot drinks and ice creams, free swimming, and an hour’s free parking.
His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales visited the area to learn about the work being done to prevent youth homelessness.
Many of the public bins across the conurbation are well past their sell-by date and are difficult for crews to empty.
