Anyone who witnessed this incident in Waterloo Road, or who has captured it on dashcam footage is encouraged to contact the police.

Four people were arrested in Dorchester following allegations of false imprisonment and drugs and firearms offences.

The 19-year-old has been released under investigation following a find of drugs and relevant paraphernalia.

The summer sees an increase in calls to the police but on some occasions other agencies could be more appropriate.

The campaign, which runs until 28 August, means that officers will be increasing operational focus on those driving while impaired.

Police are hoping that the man who intervened and any witnesses to this incident in Culliford Crescent will come forward.
