The collision happened on Canford Way on 17 February, and police are hoping someone will come forward with dashcam footage.
The incident took place at around 7.45pm on Friday 20 February in the gardens, and police are appealing for witnesses.
Anyone who witnessed the incident in the Three phone shop in Poole High Street on Friday 13 February is asked to contact the police.
Any witnesses or drivers with dashcam footage are urged to contact the police, who are carrying out a detailed investigation.
The 18-year-old, who was found in possession of a class B drug, was suspected of being in possession of an imitation firearm.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who saw a man carrying a jerry can or who witnessed the incident on Friday 13 February.
The incident took place on Southbourne Beach on Thursday 17 April 2025, with one teenager in possession of a hammer.
