Dorset Police are gearing up for the summer season in the county by providing additional uniformed officers.

Dorset Police would like to speak to anyone who can give information about the way the cars were being driven before the collision.

Dorset Police didn’t give up in the hunt for Richard Ronald Hawksworth, who has been found guilty of supplying drugs in Dorset.

A large number of people were at the car park on Sunday 20 April and police are hoping witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage will come forward.

Anyone who has any information relating to this collision at Sandbanks on Sunday 27 April should contact Dorset Police.

Neighbourhood Policing Teams have been trialling a traceable forensic spray in order to deter riders from committing anti-social behaviour.

Overall crime in the county fell by 1.1 per cent in 2024, making Dorset one of the top 10 safest areas in the country, but some crimes increased.

The incident in which the 14-year-old girl was attacked and raped took place on land adjacent to Fordingbridge Recreation Ground on 17 January.

Anyone who witnessed this attempted burglary on 17 April or who has CCTV footage should contact Dorset Police.

Anyone who hasn’t yet spoken to the police or has any CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident in St Swithun’s Road should come forward.
